Est 2007.Family run, friendly, Belgian style Café-bar, free from brewery tie. Popular with all ages and a wide range of clientele. Real Ales from local and interesting micro and regional brewers. Stronger beers on the left of the six hand pumps, session beers to the right. Stout or porter always available. Effectively, a beer to suit all tastes can be had here. Superb range of bottled Belgian beers. Hops is an accredited "Orval Ambassador", one of only 15 such premises in the UK. Up to six real Ciders and Perry's available too, from smaller producers. The patio at the front of the pub is extremely popular on sunny, warm, summer days. Close to town centre, in the shadow of Christ Church tower.
